Not surprisingly Bruges is often nicknamed The Venice of the North. Everyone who decides to stay a weekend or longer in a hotel Brugge will notice right away how beautiful and astonishing this city really is: let yourself be submerged into the beauty of the famous romantic Bruges canals, the power of majestic 15th century towers, excellent museums, fine restaurants and cosy bars.

Staying in a hotel in Antwerpen equals staying in a very modern and refreshing city, full of creativity and entrepreneurship. The best Antwerp hotels are located within walking distance of the best spots such as the Groenplaats, the Meir, the Keyserlei, the Kammenstraat, and so on. Last summer I stayed at the Hotel Rubenshof, a very cosy and charming Antwerpen hotel, located along one of those famous Antwerp boulevards. Next year I’ll definitely book a stay in that hotel in Antwerpen again!
Last but not least, Staying in the city of Ghent will here and there remind you of your time in Bruges, mainly because of the fact that the historical city centre is as beautiful as Bruges’. The quality of the Ghent hotels is also comparable to Bruges. The biggest difference when staying in a hotel in Gent is that the city is a lot more vibrant and contemporary, mainly due to the presence of over 30.000 students!
